Science

“Tell me - and I’ll forget, show me - and I’ll remember, let me do it - and I’ll understand”. This maxim, assigned to Confucius, reveals the fundamental principle of contemporary education science. It fits perfectly with the idea of the “Energy, Sky and Sun” exhibition. This is the first interactive exhibition devoted to physical sciences, organized under the framework of the Hewelianum Centre project. With over 60 exhibition stands, visitors can become familiar with many important problems in the fields of physics and astronomy. Almost every exhibit offers some interactive features, which require the visitor to actively engage in the process of learning. The need to perform specific actions, the setting in which the exhibits are displayed, the light effects and the unobtrusive sounds of music in the background - all this causes each stand to become more than an exhibit, turning it into a scene in a show where the visitor is both a spectator and an actor.
