Let’s mix up creativity and innovation in adult education

In September 2009 Cultural Park of City Fortifications „Gdansk Fortress” started to carry out the two-year-lasting project. Let’s mix up CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION IN ADULT EDUCATION with a partnership of 5 institutions:

The main idea of the project “Let’s mix up CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION IN ADULT EDUCATION” is to share knowledge and to exchange experiences about how to educate in attractive and creative ways.

The project aims to:

1. Promote innovative practices in adult education,
2. Motivate people to learn by using attractive ways,
3. Exchange creative ideas in various areas of knowledge,
4. Develop creative and innovative skills with a specific focus on the transfer to adult education,
5. Improve and increase local and international activities.

The activities undertaken in the frames of the project will include presentations and exhibitions at local level to promote innovative techniques in creative training delivery and to disseminate information about the European creativity and innovation in adult education.

During each international project partner meeting, each hosting country will present its own examples of good practices in education. In this way we will exchange experiences referring to creative and innovative ways of education in the participating countries. During each meeting a film will be recorded showing creative and innovative ways of education in a hosting country. Having recorded examples of innovative education from each participating country, one common DVD called European Creativity e-Handbook will be produced with the examples from all the participating countries. The DVD will be widely spread among learners and staff in each participating country and throughout the Europe.

Furthermore the European Creativity e-Handbook will serve as an e-book containing the final results of the European partnership and will have a collection of materials which will be elaborated during the partnership.

During the first project partner meeting, that will be held in Poland on 18-22 November 2009, Cultural Park of City Fortifications „Gdansk Fortress” will present examples of good practice in history, physics and astronomy teaching using a scientific-multimedia and interactive exposition in Hewelianum Centre.
